[:en]The 10 days in Poland with sunny weather and nice company + friend visiting is really cool!
We visited really a lot of places (almost one city per day!) and went across from North-East Masurian lake region down to South-West Tarta mountainous region.

With backpacking, the journey might lead to physical fatigue yet overall it was quite relaxing and resourcing for the mind!

3 anecdotes of the trip

  • #1. Olsztyn: Pigeons on the table, eating directly from the dish of the man next table!
  • #2. Elbląg: 4 hours’ waiting at the bus station, from 9 pm to 1 am in the morning! We thought the bus was not coming and finally when we decided to go back to the hotel… the bus just arrived!
  • #3. Kraków: After the visit of salt mine, the hostel told us that the room is not located in the same place as the reception! We met a couple who even called the reception to find the place as the indication (written on paper) is not clear even for them!?

My favorite 3 places of the trip

  • #1. Hiking in Zakopane
  • #2. Walking in the Old Town of Krakow
  • #3. Cruising over the natural bird reserve of Elblag Canal

3 animal encounters

  • #1. Squirrels come to welcome you in the Royal Łazienki Park
  • #2. Peacocks walking next to you in the Royal Łazienki Park
  • #3. Herons flying over the wildlife reserve of Elblag Canal

Some typical Polish food
