Warsaw Old Town
The Old Town of Warsaw was rebuilt after World War II and it’s listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980 (as “an outstanding example of a near-total reconstruction of a span of history covering the 13th to the 20th century). You can definitely feel the “quasi-total reconstruction” as some of the buildings in the Old Town are still under renovation.
Royal Łazienki Park
After spending some time visiting the old town and having lunch in a typical Polish restaurant, walk along the famous street Krakowskie Przedmieście, till the Royal Łazienki Park, where many animals such as squirrels, peacocks and ducks came to welcome us!
I think it’s my favorite place in Warsaw, as it combines history, nature, architecture and animals.
