The Preventorio/Sanatorium is an architectural complex built in the 19th century in the region of Alicante (Valencia), Spain.
Former luxury hotel of the nineteenth century when wealthy people went on holiday or for spa treatments recognized since antiquity, this great battisse sits atop mountains, in the heart of the breathtaking views of the Sierra del Cabezon de Oro.
In the early 30s, the Spanish state commandeered the luxurious resort Miramar to turn it into a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients children. From the 45/50s, tuberculosis was dammed with antibiotics but the Preventorio definitively closed down only in the 60s.

The Sanatorium is full of famous parapsychic phenomena throughout Spain!
